Proof #41: Flip a Coin

March 11, 2008

Another proof with prayer as its central theme. I’ve already answered prayer here and here. Prayer is not a magic gumball machine, but a way to offer yourself to God. I’ve already said all that needs to be said on this topic.

    Prayer, aka: Superstition.
1 a: a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation
b: an irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition
2: a notion maintained despite evidence to the contrary
