Proof #43: Realize That a “Hidden” God is Impossible

Marshall Brain’s summary of God:

Jesus claims to be God, and Jesus is a physical being running around Israel for all to see. He apparently performed millions of miracles in front of millions of people. The God of the Bible is not hiding — God is so hungry for publicity and exposure that he actually incarnates himself and then starts performing miracles for everyone on the planet. Then he creates a God-breathed book to describe everything and publishes billions of copies all over the world.

All true.  And yet atheists ignore all of that evidence.  Pity.

This section is one of Marshall’s strongest arguments. It seems a bit of a cop-out for you to take only a fraction of what he said, post it out of context, add a snide comment, and effectively fail to offer a counter argument to one of his most convincing points. It seems as if you were ducking the real issue. It is apparent that you have gone to great lengths to dispute some of Marshall’s other claims, perhaps more thoughtful rebuttal is in order.

All true. And yet atheists ignore all of that evidence. Pity.
–Again, it’s not evidence of anything, it’s just a story. By your standards then, every fictional book and stories of all other religions is evidence of them being true, too merely because they exist in carvings and paper.

How about you address his conclusion in this proof which is:
–Yet, for some reason, God wants none of us today to see any of those miracles because he “needs to remain hidden” so that he will not “taint our free wills.” Does that seem likely? Or is it more likely that Jesus never performed a real miracle? When you combine this evidence with the fact that Jesus answers no prayers, it is clear to us what is actually happening. The idea that God is “hiding” is ridiculous. The fact is that God is completely imaginary, and that is the real reason why there is absoutely no evidence for God today.

We can’t see God becos we’re sinful. Only after death can we. You can’t see your brain. only after death maybe. But He tried to reveal Himself through the things around us, like how wonderful DNA is that you might start to think of a creator. You only think He’s still hiding becos no matter how obvious He make Himself known, the devil will ALWAYS twist the fact into something else. Like when God lets you see how wonderful your body is and how it works, the devil leads you to evolution. Even if God appears in front of you now, the devil will lead you to think that you’re just hallucinating. Or something like that

We can’t see God becos we’re sinful. Only after death can we.
–So after death, we can see God because we’re sinless? And have you died and seen God? How can you even know that statement is true if everyone has to die to see him? There are no survivors left to tell the tale. So not only are these two sentences contradictory of each other, but they’re not even founded off of any truth or evidence, just wild rationalizations.

But He tried to reveal Himself through the things around us, like how wonderful DNA is that you might start to think of a creator
–Only to simple minds who attribute everything they don’t understand to God in the first place. And how can he “try” to reveal himself? Why doesn’t he just appear to us, or make himself known in some other irrefutable way. And people didn’t need DNA to think of a creator. It wasn’t discovered until 1950. Our existence, nor the complexity of cells is evidence of God. Evolution explains that quite nicely.

You only think He’s still hiding becos no matter how obvious He make Himself known,
–Just How obvious is he making himself known? And which God is it that is making himself known?

the devil will ALWAYS twist the fact into something else. Like when God lets you see how wonderful your body is and how it works, the devil leads you to evolution. Even if God appears in front of you now, the devil will lead you to think that you’re just hallucinating. Or something like that
–Rofl. Don’t even get me started on the Devil. Take responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming everything else on an invisible bad guy who you seem to think gets in your brain and influences people’s thoughts. The devil doesn’t “lead” anyone to anything. People do that on their own. And where’s your evidence of Satan? If there’s no God, there is no Satan. Even if there is a God, a Devil doesn’t necessarily exist. Every story needs a bad guy to place blame on.

Luke a ghost can haunt u…and u cant see it,,omg wat happens next?
–Rofl. I’m not even going to touch this. It’s ridiculous, and bears no meaning nor does it have any points of value on the subject at hand.
